What an outstanding adventure with WCT! The communication with Mary and Greg was excellent and they answered all of our questions with patience. The route maps and detailed descriptions in the final Trail Guide were spot-on. They easily added on a walk for us from Fisherman’s Wharf, across the GGB to Sausalito the day before. The next 2 days were a challenge for us older flatlanders from Illinois, even though we did the optional shorter routes, and glad we did. The scenery and hiking trails along the coast in Marin County and through Muir Woods were truly breathtaking. The inns chosen for us each evening were exceptional along with the customer service at each. The wineries we visited during the last 2 days were all fantastic, showcasing the best of local vineyards. Our last visit at a private winemaker was a highlight for us as he regaled us with stories. We would definitely recommend WCT to anyone looking to combine the best of hiking/walking with an exceptional wine experience!

A California wine tour has always been a bucket list item for us. But as outdoorspeople we didn't want to just drive around from winery to winery all day. We wanted something different, something unique. The Mount Tamalpais to the Wine Country tour was the perfect combination of everything we love: hiking, great accommodations, wonderful food, and delicious wine. Oh, and the hosts -- Mary and Greg -- were exceptional. Altogether, a most memorable adventure!

This was our 4th trek . Each one has been beautifully done, with very accurate directions and amazing views . Deep dive into the landscapes - and the inns are so unique and gorgeous with amazing breakfasts. Already planning to do agajn next spring ! This is an amazing small family business with the best customer service ever !

Can not say enough about Wine Country Trekking. The experience was an 11/10. Everything was perfectly organized. The accommodations were out of this world and so nice to enjoy after a day of hiking. I am very detail oriented and it was nice to have a trip that I didn't have to plan. Mary and Greg thought of every detail and there is no way to get lost as the trail maps are very detailed and the scenery was magnificent. The wineries that were chosen not only served delicious wine but were very personable and told great stories behind each of the wines. We ended our Trek at a personal wine makers house, the experience here was incredible and the wine WOW. I don't have one bad thing to say. I am so happy we booked with Wine Country Trekking and can't recommend it enough.

First rate from start to finish! We cannot stress how much we enjoyed our hike with Wine Country Trekking. Greg and Mary were the perfect hosts and anticipated every need of ours. We combined two tours and loved every moment. The hotels are fantastic and the food recommendations spot on! Mary went above and beyond the call of duty when we were unable to hike the last day as she picked us up and brought us to our wineries. Thank you! We will definitely be back to do another! Cheers!
